"The reason I write and illustrate children’s books is that I want to create something that brings joy and connection into people’s lives. With my own little ones stopping to read a book at the end of the day was a magical time. We could slow down and bond over beautiful imagery and well-crafted stories. During my time as a teacher, one of my favorite things to do was search for the perfect book to read to the class. It had to have good images and an engaging story. One that would really keep the kids interested. Now, as an Author, I strive to create books that inspire those moments of true connection and joy. In a fast-paced online world, it’s so important to slow down and have a good book to share with the people you love."
